*Identified clinical risk groups:
- Asplenia or dysfunction of the spleen
- Chronic respiratory disease
- Immunosuppression (having a weakened immune system)
- Chronic heart disease
- Having cochlear implants
- Chronic kidney disease
- Cerebrospinal fluid leaks
- Chronic liver disease
- Diabetes managed by medication
- Occupational exposure to metal fumes e.g. welders (taking into account exposure control measures in place)
